Superimposed over a bottom border of a line of blacks laboring in a cotton field are these typewritten words, "Some forty miles north of Memphis, in Mississippi County Arkansas, is located one of the world's most astounding enterprises ... A blending of agriculture and industry on a scale which is emerging. Fifty seven thousand acres are under cultivation. Seventy seven varied industries are under the same ownership and management. Eleven thousand human beings are entirely dependent upon this enterprise for their lively hood ..."
